INCIDENT SUMMARY REPORT
October 1 - 31, 2016
Oct 2nd: A student reported that his locked bicycle had been stolen from the bike rack in front of Ostrander Hall sometime between 9/30/16 and 10/20/16.
Oct 7th: A report of possible vandalism in a Holden Fine Arts Building men’s restroom was received. It was later determined that the damage was done accidentally by a maintenance worker installing a paper towel holder. This case was unfounded.
Oct 8th: A student reported that his locked bicycle had been stolen from the bike rack on the south side of Ross Hall sometime between 10/7/2016 and 10/8/2016.
Oct 15th: Campus Safety responded to a report of a possible fight in progress on the 4th floor of Ross Hall. Following an investigation, one adult female resident was cited for Underage Drinking-first offense, and is subject to a possible fine amount of $263.50.
Oct 17th: A student reported that someone had entered his unlocked vehicle sometime between 10/16/2016 and 10/17/2016 and removed his stereo from the front console. The vehicle had been parked in lot #3A.
Oct 17th: A student reported that his locked bicycle had been stolen from the bike rack on the south/east side of Old Main sometime on the morning of 10/17/2016.
Oct 17th: Campus Safety received a report of the theft of an iPod from an office in the Marcovich Wellness Center. Follow up investigation identified two possible suspects. When confronted, one of the suspects admitted to taking the iPod which was later recovered from a room in Hawkes hall where he had been staying. The adult male, who was not a student or hall resident, was cited for Theft (Under $100.00) and is subject to a possible fine amount of $295.50. The stolen/recovered iPod was returned to its rightful owner.
Oct 17th: A student reported that his unlocked bicycle had been stolen from the area of the bike racks in front of Curran/McNeill/Ostrander Halls sometime between 10/14/2016 and 10/17/2016.
Oct 27th: A student reported that her vehicle had been keyed (scratched) by an unknown person sometime on 10/22/2016. Her vehicle had been parked in lot #4 at the time.
